Question 1

Do you come directly to my campsite or driveway?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We are 100% mobile. We service campers and RVs parked at private campgrounds, state and county parks, residential driveways, and storage lots throughout our service corridor.

Question 2

What areas do you cover, and what does travel cost?

Accepted Answer

Our primary corridor runs along US-51 / I-39 from Tomahawk south to Hwy 21 (including Merrill, Wausau, Mosinee, Stevens Point, and Plover) within a 10-mile radius. Standard service charges are up to $50 depending on location, and we travel outside our primary area for $1 per mile.

Question 3

Do I need to be present while you work on my rig?

Accepted Answer

Ideally yes, especially for diagnostics or interior issues. If you cannot be present, such as at a campground while you're out or at a storage facility, prior arrangements can be made with access permissions and gate codes.

Question 4

Do you work on the RV ‘house’ systems or vehicle chassis and engines?

Accepted Answer

We specialize in the ‘house’ and living systems—electrical (12V/120V), plumbing, ACs, furnaces, water heaters, refrigerators, slide-outs, leveling systems, awnings, and roof leak repairs. We do not perform mechanical engine, transmission, or drive-chassis repairs.

Question 5

Do you work on all types of RVs?

Accepted Answer

Yes—travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, horse trailers, Class A, B, and C motorhomes, and converted vans.

Question 6

Do you offer seasonal winterization and de-winterization?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We offer on-site winterization (antifreeze flush) in the fall to protect against freeze damage, and spring fire-ups (sanitizing water lines, inspecting batteries, and testing AC and appliances) so you're ready for the camping season.

Question 7

How does your pricing work?

Accepted Answer

We keep our pricing transparent and up-front: a service charge of up to $50 (depending on distance within our corridor), an hourly labor rate of $125/hour, plus any required parts and materials. We always provide an estimate before doing major work.

Question 8

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept cash, check, and credit or debit cards.

Question 9

Do you work with extended warranties or RV insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if they contact me. Most of the time, I provide you with an itemized invoice that you can submit to your insurance or warranty provider for reimbursement.

Question 10

How quickly can you get to me if I have an emergency?

Accepted Answer

Active roof leaks, failed heat in freezing temperatures, or slide-outs stuck out when you need to travel are treated with priority. Call 715-219-9931 directly for urgent situations during business hours.

Question 11

What should I do before Steve arrives?

Accepted Answer

If possible, have your rig hooked up to power and water (or the fresh tank filled), ensure clear access to problem areas such as slides, the breaker panel, under-sink areas, and the water heater, and secure any pets.

Question 12

What does ‘and Prayer’ mean in your name?

Accepted Answer

Steve and Cindy believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior and in serving people with honest craftsmanship and genuine care. If you're walking through a difficult season, traveling, or just need encouragement, Steve is always happy to pray with you at your rig—or you can submit a private request through our Prayer Requests page. It is completely optional and always free of charge.
